This introductory visit is to get to know the feel and character of your garden and to listen to your ideas, aspirations, likes and dislikes.
Approximate measurements and photographs will be taken. It is on this visit, that generally takes about 2 hours, that enough information will be gathered to develop the design brief.
Working from your brief - concept plans, sketches, a summary explanation and written quote will be produced for your approval.
At this stage there is a set fee of £75 (depending on mileage) to cover costs already incurred. This will be offset against the final cost should you decide to proceed. Any further ideas and details are discussed if necessary.
A full on-site survey is carried out.
(If the site is very large a specialist surveyor may have to be engaged)
A detailed Master Plan is produced plus any additional plans, plant list and
descriptive interpretation.
This is normally included on the Master Plan or as separate plans per border.
